Trauma Sensitive Yoga is changing lives in the Middle East thanks to a refugee-led initiative to help women and children recover from complex trauma & PTSD.

Refugee TCTSY Community Leaders from Syria and Palestine are working to restore a sense of safety and agency for women and children living in United Nations refugee camps in both Lebanon and Palestine.

These community leaders have helped to adapt TCTSY, a survivor-centered healing modality developed in the West that is rooted in both trauma research and yoga, to the culture and language of those living in the camps.

Our mission is to make culture-specific TCTSY sessions for Syrian and Palestinian refugees available for at least the next year.
